State-Sponsored Evacuation Flights

Below is an update regarding state-sponsored evacuation flights.

• Argentina - The “Safe Return Program” has returned citizens to Argentina.

• Australia - 1200 Australian citizens have been assisted with evacuation

  • Australians in Israel or the Occupied Palestinian Territories should register via https://crisis.dfat.gov.au/crisisportal/s/ or by calling the 24-hour Consular Emergency Centre on +61 2 6261 3305 (from overseas) or 1300 555 135 (from Australia).

• Bolivia - 14 tourists evacuated from Israel on a Spanish Air Force flight

• Brazil

  • 701 Brazilians have been evacuated

• Bulgaria - Bulgaria dispatched a government-owned Airbus A319-111 to evacuate citizens

• Canada - Canadian Air Force flights have evacuated citizens from Israel

• Chile - 209 Chileans have been evacuated

• Czech Republic - Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky brought 34 Czech citizens back from Israel with him on his government plane after he stopped in the country on his return from a conference in Oman

• Colombia - 110 citizens have been evacuated.

• Denmark - A C130 has been made available to evacuate citizens however, it will not happen before Friday, unlcear if they occured

• Finland - 149 people have been evacuated.

  • Travelers in the region are advised to register their travel plans at matkustusilmoitus.fi and, in emergencies, contact the Foreign Ministry’s 24/7 Service Centre by email to paivystys.um@formin.fi or by phone to +358 9 1605 5555. The Foreign Ministry will contact everyone who has registered their travel plans and inform them about the evacuation flight. • France -Citizens have returned to France on state sponsored flights

• Germany - Over 80 Germans have been evacuated

• Georgia - “Any Georgians in Israel or who have family or friends in Israel can also contact Ossoff’s office for assistance by visiting ossoff.senate.gov or by calling (470) 786-7800” (Source)

• Greece - Greeks were evacuated this week

• India - 447 Indians have been evacuated

• Italy -The Italian government repatriated 900 citizens

• Netherlands - Citizens have been evacuated.

  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will contact everyone personally as soon as places become available for a repatriation flight.
    Check the Foreign Affairs Information Service if your registration is complete and contact details are correct.

• Norway - Canceled planned evac flight due to insurance issues

• Panama - Coordinating evacuation of citizens

• Paraguay - Citizens have been evacuated

• Portugal - Two flights occurred to return citizens to Portugal

• Poland - Has evacuated numerous citizens over the last days.

• Sweden - Citizens have been repatriated

• Switzerland - has evacuated citizens

• South Korea - A flight carrying 220 people landed

• Thailand - 41 Thais were evacuated to Thailand on Thursday

• Ukraine - 362 Ukrainians have been evacuated

• UK - Anyone requesting assistance to leave must have registered by 10/18/23

• United States - Nearly 1,000 US citizens and family members have departed Israel on State Department-sponsored charter flights since Friday for Europe, a department spokesperson told Reuters on Monday.

  The State Department said it had offered more than 4,000 seats on US government-chartered transport by air and sea to US citizens and immediate family but said the flights and other departure options have generally departed at half capacity or less.

  US government-facilitated flights scheduled from Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv to continue through at least Oct. 22
